JOB AS TIG WELDER

• TIG tube welders black steel (FM1), stainless / SMO (FM6), hard wire (141/136,FM1)
• Black steel (FM1) TIG and MAG black steel welders (138/136, FM1)

Location: Esbjerg, Denmark – about 80 minutes from the German-Danish border.

Duration of the project: The project is tentatively scheduled for 16 weeks in a 3×1 rotation. Possibly much longer.

Required skills:

Welder: Minimum 5 years of welding experience With valid certificates:

• TIG 141 black steel (FM1), stainless / SMO (FM6), 141/136, FM1 – self-reliance, ability to weld and assemble pipes according to technical and isometric drawings. The welder must approach the work with a focus on safety.

• TIG141 black steel (FM1), MAG black steel (138/136, FM1) – ability to read technical drawings, self-assembly, torch operation and ability to gouge and grind. The welder must approach the work with a focus on safety.

Day one – sitetest.

Welding with powder wire Ø 168 x 20 mm in position H-L045: TIG welding test Ø 58 x 13 mm.

Required Certifications:

• Valid welding certificate 141 (FM1,FM6), 136/138 (FM1)
• Health and safety course for welding and thermal cutting in Denmark – so-called. §17 (formerly §26).
  If you don’t have this course, we can help you take it online.

Job Description:

Welding in the workshop.

Welding of pipes (oil/gas) of black steel and stainless steel according to technical drawings and sheets of black steel. All welds will be tested and inspected. It is important to communicate in English on the job site and to be self-reliant.

Pipes in production will range from about 3 to 20 mm thick.

Sheet metal / structures from about 3 to 50 mm.

Work schedule:

• Day shift: Monday – Saturday, 07:00 – 17:00

Paid hours: The following are paid for each 10-hour shift. 9.5 hours
(45 minutes total break, of which 15 minutes is paid).

Overtime and bonuses:

• Monday-Thursday: overtime allowance after working 7.5 hours
• Friday: overtime allowance after 7.0 hours
• Saturday, Sunday and evening/night shifts: apply special allowances

ADDED
DKK 15 extra for each hour worked during the project period, realized at the end of the project.

If you worked according to the contract in a 3:1 rotation for 16 weeks:
3 weeks × 57 hours × 4 rotations × 15 DKK = 10,260 DKK.
The amount will be refunded with your final salary in a tax-free form as prepaid housing rent.

Revenue

Daily change

Your earnings for 4 weeks at full employment after deducting board and lodging expenses: DKK 35,919 (approximately EUR 4,813 / PLN 20,570).

Additional benefits:

• 12.5% vacation allowance
• 13.0% on the flexible benefits account (fritvalgskonto – FVK)
• 13.0% of the pension contribution after 2 months
  (11.0% is paid by VICOS, 2.0% by the employee)

Payment of salary every 2 weeks, with the possibility of an advance of up to DKK 6,000 (approx. 804 EUR / 3,483 PLN) after 12 days of work.

Accommodation, travel and benefits

Travel:

• Travel Relief: VICOS assures that you will receive up to 32,800 DKK per year (approx. 4,395 EUR / 18,814 PLN).
  The monthly relief is DKK 2,633 (approx. 366 EUR / 1,567 PLN) for lodging and meals.
  Shorter stays result in a higher monthly allowance.
• Travel reimbursement: VICOS assists in obtaining tax refunds for travel from your country of residence to Denmark and for daily commuting of more than 12 km. These returns are calculated by Danish tax authority (Skattestyrelsen) and apply to expenses not covered by the employer.

Note: VICOS does not directly cover travel and lodging expenses, but tax credits increase your net salary, which means you have more resources than if you were to pay traditional travel expenses.

Accommodations:

VICOS arranges accommodation near the workplace. A single room with internet and access to a kitchen and bathroom costs 135 DKK/day (including utilities), approx. 18 EUR / 78 PLN.

Food:

No meals at the workplace.

Workwear allowance:

Please bring your own work clothes, safety shoes and respiratory protection (mask, filters or respirator) for the first days of work.
You can use your own welding mask, but the customer must also provide protective equipment (mask, welding helmet).

After 2 weeks of cooperation, VICOS is pleased to will reimburse up to DKK 700 for the purchase of workwear – based on the submitted receipt. Then you can apply for reimbursement of up to DKK 700 every 3 months – condition is to send a new receipt each time.
