Place of work

Denmark, close to the German-Danish border.

Work period

The work is tentatively scheduled for 2-3 months on a rotating basis. The work can be for a longer period if the project extends or the employer is satisfied with the cooperation.

Job description

Sandblasting of steel structures. Experience in sandblasting: sand and grit. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the profession is required for employment. Certifications welcome.

Work schedule:

Night shift: Monday – Saturday, 18:30 – 06:30.

Paid hours: For each 12-hour shift, you are paid for 11.5 hours (1 hour break, of which 30 minutes are paid).

Overtime payment: Monday-Thursday, paid overtime after 7.5 hours of work. On Fridays, paid overtime after 7.0 hours of work. Special allowances apply on Saturdays and Sundays and during evening/night hours.

Night shift

Your earnings for 4 weeks at full employment, after deducting board and lodging expenses: DKK 43,429.

Salary Supplements:

• 12.5% vacation payment

• 13.0% flexible fund (fritvalgskonto FVK)

• 11.0% pension contribution after 2 months.

Salary every two weeks with the possibility of an advance of up to DKK 6,000 (about EUR 804 / PLN 3,483) after 12 days of work.

Life, travel and work benefits

Travel:

• Travel concessions: VICOS ensures that you will receive up to DKK 31,600 per year (about EUR 4,236 / PLN 18,346), DKK 2,633/month (about EUR 352 / PLN 1,528) for accommodation and meals – regulated by the tax office in Denmark. Shorter stays result in higher monthly concessions.

• Travel allowance: VICOS provides reimbursement for travel expenses from the home country to Denmark and for daily commuting over 12 km, as VICOS informs the Tax Office (Skattestyrelsen) accordingly, which calculates reimbursements for expenses not covered by the employer.

VICOS does not cover travel and lodging expenses, but the amounts mentioned contribute to your expenses in the form of higher concessions, which means that your net salary is higher than if your employer covered your travel expenses.

Accommodations: VICOS arranges accommodation close to the workplace. A single room with internet access and kitchen and bathroom costs 135 DKK per day (utilities included) (about 18 EUR / 78 PLN).

Meals: Meals are provided in the cafeteria from Monday to Sunday, at a cost of DKK 32 per meal. You pay for the day you are at work.

Workwear subsidy: Bring your own work clothes and safety shoes for the first two weeks. VICOS will reimburse up to DKK 700 on your first withdrawal (about EUR 94 / PLN 406) for purchases with a receipt. After that, every 3 months, you can claim up to DKK 700 in reimbursement for the purchase of work clothes or footwear.
