When looking for a job in the Netherlands, you must show your willingness to work, purpose and motivation. So that the recruiter has this conviction that you are not going to the Netherlands together just because you are afraid of a long-distance relationship. So why should you consider going with your other half?
Advantage – a familiar roommate
The vision of living with random people and sharing a kitchen, bathroom and toilet with them can be uncomfortable. Couples undoubtedly have one advantage – employment agencies can accommodate them together in a room. You will always know who your roommate will be. Working in the same place? Why not! Most agencies can assure you that you will work in the same place or on the same shifts.
Employers look the other way
Employers view working couples much more favorably, as those who come in twos tend to be regular employees, more persistent. They change jobs less often, stay longer in foreign countries, adapt to new conditions more easily and quickly, and are more motivated to work. At the moment it is easy to find work for couples in horticulture, without having to know the language.
Single candidates risk
Those who come alone find it more difficult to take on all the challenges. So it’s a big advantage if you leave with your other half, because then things don’t change as much, and it’s easier to accept any changes when you have a loved one next to you. The most important thing, however, is that when you go to work with your other half you have, above all, mental comfort. Work is not easy, sometimes everything works out great, but there are days when stress overwhelms us, difficulties arise. However, you return home, where a loved one is waiting for you, who can comfort you, support you, motivate you to act. Two are always better together! So even when some problems or challenges arise, together they are easier to overcome.
